The Masseys’ gorgeous downtown Greenville wedding at Vue 1919 was timeless, romantic, and deeply meaningful. When I think back on their wedding day, the word that immediately comes to mind is intentional. Every detail, every decision, every moment was rooted in love, faith, and a commitment to creating a celebration that felt authentic and personal. They prioritized spending their time with friends and family, enjoying a candlelit dinner and dancing the night away. And friend, if you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s elegant, faith-centered, and set in the heart of one of South Carolina’s most charming cities, this one’s for you!
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the calm joy in the air. Meyers and Tucker have this beautiful way of making you feel instantly at ease. They’re fun and outgoing, yet carry such a grounding presence, like you can take a deep breath and just be yourself around them. Their love is steady and sincere, and the way they designed their day reflected that perfectly.
Instead of packing the day with a million photo moments, they chose to keep things simple and presence-filled. They did a first look (with each other and with the father of the bride), shared personal vows, and centered their ceremony around their faith. Their guestbook was a Bible, where loved ones could highlight meaningful verses and leave notes, a lasting keepsake that truly reflected their heart.
Right in the heart of Falls Park on the Reedy, Vue 1919 (formerly The Venue at Falls Park) is a downtown gem. It offers a perfect blend of modern class and natural beauty. It was exactly what Meyers and Tucker wanted for their day. With its clean lines, ambient lighting, and access to the riverfront park just steps away, it gave us so many gorgeous backdrops for photos and a reception space that felt both luxe and cozy.
We wandered through the park for their bride and groom portraits before heading inside, where the venue was transformed into a candlelit dream. Long family-style tables, flickering tapers, and a warm, welcoming glow. It was straight out of a storybook.
What made Vue 1919 stand out most was how effortlessly it held space for both celebration and stillness. It allowed for intimate moments, like quiet prayers and soft glances, while also offering room to dance, laugh, and celebrate freely.
The whole day had a quiet kind of magic. Full of celebration without overwhelming the intimacy and presence Meyers and Tucker wanted to hold onto throughout the day.
And when I say their reception was a PARTY… oh my gosh. They were the BEST dance floor crowd and the band was phenomenal!
They wrapped up the night with the most joyful sparkler exit, then rode off in Tucker’s renovated Volkswagen campervan —a van he once took on an epic road trip out west for a year! SO COOL!!!!! It was one of those nights where everyone was laughing, dancing, and fully living in the moment.
“These are absolutely perfect and I love reliving our day through these photos. You did so amazing! So so so talented and good at what you do. Thank you so much!!!!”
